Pizza Meatloaf

Pizza Meatloaf

My lovely husband, Mr. Picky pants made me dinner the other night. I had to work and he had the day off. I came home to the house smelling wonderful. My husband never cooks, which is alright by me since I LOVE to cook and he really doesn't.  He does other things that I don't really like to do like take out the garbage, wash the dishes, clean the bathroom and mow the lawn. Oh, and squish bugs !!!!This meatloaf was extra great tasting since it was made by my honey! He found his great meatloaf recipe on the McCormick website.

2 pounds lean ground beef or ground turkey
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs or 1 cup soft bread crumbs (2 slices bread)
1 package McCormick® Meat Loaf Seasoning Mix
1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
1 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix all ingredients. except pizza sauce and cheese, in large bowl until well blended.

2. Shape meat mixture into a loaf. Place in foil-lined baking pan or 9x5-inch loaf pan. Top with pizza sauce.

3. Bake 55 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cooked through.
