Baked Tilapia

This is the easiest and most delicious tilapia recipe I ever made. It was great after a long day of work. The recipe called for seasoned breadcrumbs, but I used regular bread crumbs and seasoned them with garlic, pepper and Lawry's season salt. I added some fresh chive on top the last few minutes of baking.


1 lb.Tilapia fillets
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter                


Heat oven to 425. Put tilapia in a oven safe dish, melt butter, pour over tilapia, sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake for 15-20 minutes until fish is no longer translucent.
